Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

A friend just introduced me to Accu Holidays which is a free, online, holiday music station. I like it because there are about 40 different "stations" to choose from. I certainly haven't tried them all but we have been enjoying the "Holiday Classical" station which has a good share of religious holiday music and hymns and is overall very inoffensive. My daughter asked me to play the "Kids at Christmas" station which I thought would be cute for a bit and the second song was a young Michael Jackson doing "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" which definitely disturbed me as a child when I still thought Santa Claus was some other guy. So, consider yourself warned ;)

it's a great site.. but if I remember right, the closer you get to Christmas the harder it is to get a connection. If they still offer the free trial membership, get that for that week before Christmas

Thanks for the tip! I wonder if they still play through the Twelve Days? I'm always so disappointed when the radio stations give up on the 26th. We have such a small holiday CD collection and we mostly want the music after Christmas--not before!

I believe they're year round.

Another option is "Pandora" where you can make your own radio station: Pandora
You could try to plug in some of your favorite Advent Hymns before Christmas.

How lovely! I can use my laptop to listen, which is so nice because I can turn off the volume as needed throughout the school day.

Thank you!

Mary Alice--I do use Pandora the rest of the year but I can't figure out how to add a whole pre-mixed station. I'm sure it's easy--tips?
