I finally have a moment to sit and tell you all our wonderful news!!
Marie-Therese Rose was born 4 weeks early on December 4th!
She was a complete surprise! When I woke up last Friday I had NO IDEA that would be the day!
I had a routine OB appointment that afternoon where the doctor found that baby had an irregular heartbeat and had stopped growing at 35 weeks (I was 36 weeks). She also couldn't tell if she was breech or not.
So she sent me down the hall to have an ultrasound that revealed baby was indeed breech.
As I went to get up from the ultrasound table my water broke! So we headed straight to the hospital for a quick c-section.
I had wanted to avoid a c-section but by this time there was no question....she needed to come out!
So at 7:15pm Marie-Therese entered the world weighing 5lbs 5oz and measuring 18 1/2 inches long.
She is tiny but perfect!
I do ask that you keep me in your prayers as there were some other issues that came to light during surgery but for now I'm focusing on this beautiful new creation and thanking God with all my being that she and I are doing well!

Oh, Congratulations Jen! An early Christmas present.  I have been thinking of you b/c I remember so fondly being pregnant with my first and how wonderful and exciting it was. God bless you and your new little girl! I love how tiny she is -- my girls were both over 8 lbs and I'm always wanted a tiny baby.
