It looks like a full weekend ahead of nothing but rain and wind. My dh and two high schoolers are going on a Lifeteen retreat, my two young adult daughters have work and are pretty much on their own. That leaves me with 9yo ds and 6yo dd. What to do? I'm thinking good movies, good books, some cooking projects. Cleaning??
The only commitment outside the home (besides Sunday Mass) is a track meet on Sat. which is likely to be cancelled. I guess I've been rather over-committed lately because being rained in all weekend sounds wonderful right now!
What would you do?

sounds like a lovely weekend..

We've been rather on the run too.. I was just arranging with my sister to trade kids for a couple hours on Sunday after church.. we'll take them all for a couple of hours and then she'll take them all for a couple of hours and us adults can have a bit of time to just not do anything at all.

That's the weather around here all weekend too. I think your plans sound wonderful and I second the hot chocolate and popcorn! Maybe make some cookies? I love the smell of homebaked cookies when the weather is yucky outside! (Hmmm....maybe that's what I'll do this weekend!)
