just arrived and it is great! Have you seen it yet?
The theme of the Summer issue is college (and other choices) with some great articles (including one by MacBeth on applying to a conservatory!). There is also a wonderful, pull-out unit study by Alicia vanHecke that uses Phantom Tollbooth and brings in all kinds of other resources to really use and enjoy this book! I'm excited to start that read-aloud with the kiddoes.
If you haven't yet subscribed to m-et-m, please click here and Margot will be most happy to get you set up. It's worth every penny ... especially since it's the only Catholic homeschool periodical out there!
If you already have a subscription -- what did you think of the issue?

My children played outside happily enough for me to read it all in one afternoon! Great issue! Love the book reviews and hope to use the Phantom Tollbooth study maybe next summer!

I received mine yesterday, but just got to look at it tonight. I came to 4Real tonight to post this very topic!
What a wonderful collection of articles and information! I especially enjoyed SarahM's essay entitled Important Things!
I'm very excited about working on the Phantom Tollbooth Unit Study - my son recently purchased this book for my daughter - and we're planning it as a read-aloud.
