Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am looking for candles that really have scent when burned.
Any brand suggestions?

The Ginger Jar candles from Home Interiors have a very strong sent. They can be had for cheap on Ebay sometimes. I like the pumpkin spice one and the gardenia.

Hey Viv !!!

The American Craft Gingerbread candle that I picked up at A.C.Moore is suprisingly potent. I light it downstairs and can smell it one floor up !!! Great price, too.

Do you knwo if they have non-food scents?
Certainly close enough and price helps.

Hey Viv! I really love Mia Bella soy candles. they smell wonderful, and they have great scents like "fresh cut grass" and other "outdoor" kind of scents.

We like Village Candles. They have a double wick so they burn evenly and produce a nice, strong scent.

We get them at the grocery store and they are reasonably priced. You can also get them online. Our favorite for this time of year is Mulled Cider.

I'm particularly fond of Valerie Parr Hill Soy Candles. They can be found on QVC or www.qvc.com. I gave one to Elizabeth last year for Christmas and she said she really liked it. There are many different scents - food and non-food.
