Just discovered..CITY KNIT MAXI SKIRTS..and the store NEWYORK & COMPANY sells them!

Beautiful, comfortable, affordable! Washer/Dryer friendly. As of yesturday, they were $12.47 (regular $24.95)
Lots of colours! Lots of sizes!

Click STORE LOCATOR on the link below. If interested, call and inquire about the sizes and colours available - if there is a good selection, I promise you, it is worth the trip!

Here is the website to see what they look like ~Link Fairy, I need you

City Knit Maxi Skirt

(I've noticed the colours and sizes change everyday ONLINE with this particular skirt)

Link fairy dropping in to say that these skirts look gorgeous!   And what a great price!!!

It looks like if you spent $75 at the site shipping would be free...and it also looks like all the colors are available online.

Cute!

When I click on the colors, nothing is happening. Is anyone able to see what color/size combos there are? It's working for other items, but not the skirt.

Suzanne, you might have better luck calling the store nearest you..late last night online, there was only white available in small, then early this am there was a multitude of colours but only in XL..now when I try clicking on any of the colours a little bubble comes up saying it is currently out of stock. And no sizes..sorry about this:(
Click on the STORE LOCATOR on the bottom, to help find one nearest you! Then call and ask them. I think you'll have a better chance finding something directly from a NewYork & Company store in your area.
(I put that link up there so everyone could see what they look like).
Thanks Suzanne for checking it out. I hope you there is a NewYork & Company perhaps in a mall, in your neighbourhood.

Definitely call. We have 3 of these stores reasonably close. The first I called had 3 colors in my size. The second one I called had EVERY color in my size    Needless to say, we took a field trip this morning. The skirts are SO COMFORTABLE!!! Now if they just had pockets...but hey, beggars can't be choosers.

You must be desperate if you're willing to schlep into the mall with the girls!!!!!

They're terribly adorable - I'm dying to know if you get one...or 5!

I too would like to know they're length...and if they look cute with the chacos, Suzanne....and what your sanity level is after you try one on with your girls in the dressing room...

I'm still in counseling for having tried on Easter dresses with my ENTIRE crew planted in the dressing room with me. I'm banned in several stores in the Hunstville area now.

I just got back from the sale and tried some on before buying. I'm 5 ft 5 in. and they were longer than my ankles. Actually they were nearly full length on me.

And for someone trying to convert Martha's measures to inches.. I'm 5'4" and a 35" skirt is about ankle length on me.

Have you seen the maxi dresses that are popular for the younger crowd these days? They are made to pretty much hit the floor. These skirts are called maxi skirts so I'm guessing they're supposed to come to or below the ankles. I called my local store and they said they still had tons in stock. I'm gonig to go tomorrow and see what I can find.

I have been trying to find a store near me - but the store locator has a weird screen on my computer. Anyone in No Va able to pm me and let me know if there is one local?

Do they do them in a petite size - I could not find a petite option online - I am only 5ft2 and I think the regular size would be too long.

I was there today and did not see any petites (although I did not ask). I'm 5'4", but my legs are short (I always buy pants in petite) and holding up even the XS skirt it went down over my toes.

Marilyn--
There's a NY and Co in Springfield Mall (right in the center where the merry go round used to be.)

Thanks Melissa - but I think they will be way too big on me - I am only 5ft2.

They are so very pretty and feminine - anyone found similar alternatives for petites?

I would really like to get a soft knit material as they can do for summer or winter.

I really really need some long skirts for the fall/winter. I am not a big denim person.

Would this skirt from NY & Co. work?

I'm anything but petite and wonder if it would be too short on me, but on a shorter woman it might look cute.
