I'm confused about all the different photo sharing sites...Flickr, Shutterfly, Kodak, Photobucket, and on and on. I've noticed Flickr is very popular. If you use one, which do you prefer and why? Is it free? If not, what is the price?

I think all the ones you mentioned are free at their basic level (you can upgrade Flickr, for example, to a paid account if you want to increase file size or use special features, but for the average user, the free service is sufficient). I actually use Picasa's web albums (Google's photo service), since I use Picasa as my editing tool and it's easy to just upload batches of photos from there. I also like the ease of the web albums. I keep all my photos private and send out a link to our monthly album of photos to family and friends.

I have also used Snapfish and Shutterfly and both are fine.

I have used Picassa as Celeste does and it is REALLY easy. I am not very computer literate. I love sending out album invitations quarterly to family and friends. It has replaced my longing for a blog.
