Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anne,

I've been on this search. We got a marble run for Christmas and it only had plastic marbles, so we wanted replacements.

I found a big bag of marbles from an antique mall in PA. I'd recommend trying that kind of venue.

Also, different historical museum shops have them. It's a nice bag of various size marbles, including a few shooters. They also sell a bag of clay marbles.

Call the Manassas Musuem and see if they have them. If not, the little Weems Botts Museum in Dumfries has them. (I was there a few weeks ago).

I actually found some not too long ago at our local Walmart. They were just marbles sorted by color, not complete sets. I did find a complete set last summer at the Cracker Barrel; it was in a nice tin and came with directions. Amazon also has some large sets of Mega Marbles in assorted colors and sizes that looked like they were a good price if you can wait for delivery. Here's one link , but I also saw large wooden boxes each of which contained maybe 25-50 marbles in assorted colors. Each box had different sized marbles.

We got ours at Walmart. They came with a little booklet of games you could play. I think there were 100 in the bag and they were different sizes.

I was wondering what the answer would be because I think mine have been gone for a long time now!

Wal-Mart or Dollar Stores would be my first guess.

I believe I can get them at the little variety store here (there is no walmart ) or at Rite Aid.

Thank you so much for your suggestions!! I wish I knew about this a few days in advance, so I could have picked them up for him, but I chatted with dh this afternoon and he found some at a toy store on his lunch break. Thank you!!
