I have entered the blogsphere! I'm totally new to this whole thing,but with the help of many of the ladies here on the forum, I did get a blog up and running. It is sort of a spiritual journal...my thoughts at the moment. I'm not sure how it will evolve! If you visit, let me know what you think and what you would like to see on the blog.

Fixed the link...it takes a village (not to raise a child, but to get my blog running!). Yes, that's me LONG ago...I really don't look like that now, but my sweet husband thinks I do (he's legally blind  ). I put it in there just to figure out how to do the picture, but then I left it because it hopefully reminds people of the holy nature of the Sacrament of Matrimony and also of the life long commitment that we enter when we make our marriage vows. BTW, Sarah, I see you're from Washington state. I'm from Tacoma, WA originally and my family is still all there. That's why I chose Mt. Rainier for the background.
Mimi, I guess I decided to try a blog because I have been so inspired by all the blogs on the forum. I wanted to "give back" something. My problem is that I am not sure what I have to offer that would be worthy of the precious time people take to read it. So, I just decided to start with my spiritual thoughts, and hope that my readers can find in them encouragement and inspiration to apply to their own circumstances. With that in mind, I'm not mentioning the very real life events that trigger these thoughts, so others can interpret them as serves their needs best.
If you have other ideas or things you'd like me to discuss, I would love to hear them.

One question - are you really an air traffic controller of airplanes? If the air traffic you control is 8 kids I think I want that for my title too (although I don't have 8 kids)!

It's beautiful! I hope you enjoy it! I just started blogging in December and I didn't know what a creative outlet it could be... especially for someone like me who doesn't do any kind of crafting.

No, I'm not really an air traffic controller, but I used to say that when I was finished raising my children I would move on to a less stressful job--air traffic control! So I'm not quite finished, but I put that in there anyway. You know, the reason air traffic control is so stressful is that there is never any downtime and the conditions are always changing...sounds like being a mom to me!  On second thought, when I'm finished raising my children, I think I will move on to a beach in Hawaii .
