Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have a dilemma! My dd's 4th birthday is Sunday, and I just NOW got an email telling us the wooden play kitchen we ordered would not come in until July!

This was the ONLY thing we were going to get her...now we are not sure what to do. Are there brick and mortar stores that sell wooden play kitchens? I tried googling and all I got was pages with REAL kitchens with wood cabinets.

I'll order online and expedite shipping if I have to - but I don't want to have to.

Toys R Us has them. Also, the more expensive toy stores (the kind that sell Playmobile and Haba, etc) tend to have them.

I'm amazed at how often I see them at thrift stores--but that might take more shopping around than you have time for.

Maybe checking Craigslist will unearth something?

Target sells one--not sure if it's an all-wood kitchen, though.

Thank you everyone! I think I found one on Craigslist, and if that falls through, that one at Target that Celeste linked to looks perfect. I had no idea these places had them in their stores, where have I been?

We have one from Target that has held up very well over the years.
