My daughter has requested a parasol for her birthday. Any ideas where to find one? Our local Hobby Lobby used to have some pretty ones made out of battenburg lace in their wedding section but they don't carry them anymore.

My husband said he thought he saw some in the "frilly girly area" (formal clothes for little girls) at Burlington Coat Factory when we were looking at baptismal gowns for our daughter. Do they have BCF in your area?

We have seen some paper ones at the craft stores but I think she is hoping for a lace one.

I would do some hunting in the Bridal shower section of some stores. I did some searching with google, and found this one at Amazon, and this one is pink.

never used the site.. seems these run $35-45 except a few smaller ones that are $20-30

I saw that site and drooled over some of those. They are gorgeous! The price might be too high for something I am sure she wants to take outside and use. Now, if she still wants one when she gets married...

I found this site yesterday - Nanalulu's Linen Closet. They have children's Battenburg lace ones for $15.99 - look like the ones on the other site mentioned.
