Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I bought a series of books from a swap list and when they arrived, they smelled of cigarette smoke. I really can't tolerate the smell.

The seller did not specify non-smoking home, so I can't really blame her, but I don't know what to do. Would you contact her? Will the smell just fade? I spent a lot of money and now am worried I won't be able to use the books!

Help!

Here are some ideas

I used the newspaper one last week, it worked OK but not completely, although I only tried it once. It was good enough for me at the time.

Hope you find something that works!

I would contact her. I've returned books because of that. I just can't tolerate it. There should be full disclosure.
