My four year old woke up and I told him, "Happy Nameday! It's the feast of St. Blaise!" and he looked at me and said, "It's the feast of St. Me?"

Cute.
My Blaise said, "Where's the present?"
Nice to hear about another Blaise!

I too am all for more Blaises in the world! It definitely is gaining popularity (especially in Catholic circles) but so is the alternate spelling "Blaze". We have to spell his name for people all the time!

That would be sweet! You could do what my mom did and say that anyone who names a grandchild the name that she chooses (most likely HER name) gets her entire estate! (She was joking, of course... I think!)
By the way... she also wanted boy/girl twins and wanted to name them Chetalay and Chesiray. The early 70's were kinda kooky, weren't they?

Oh don't use Bridget. She'll always have to clean. In old books the Irish maid is always named Bridget.
