I love to listen to Rachel! Sounds great, Michele! We have a family reunion in Ohio the same day, so it might take some creative bargaining with dh to get me there.

I'm trying to figure out a way but budgetwise, it might not work. Sigh.

What a trooper you are, Michele! It's definitely going on the calendar, but right now, my summer is pretty uncertain ... will know more by the end of Feb!

Just stay back, Rachel, and let the Army do the moving. Don't you just wish????
Since we have no conference here I hope to go this year. Working on a plan.

Yes Leocea we're having the picnic the evening before, just like last year. The church we are using has a picnic pavilion (and playground) so it's perfect. The pastor at the parish is wonderful and LOVES homeschool families.
I hope many of you can come. Last year really was lovely and just so great to be able to connect in person with many of the moms we know online.

Hi Michelle (and all!),
I was going to email you but will post here instead.
I had totally planned to go again. I so loved your conference last year!
But....we are expecting again! Didn't I bring a baby last year! It's true and my due date is August 5! One month earlier and I could have brought a newborn this time. :)
I am so sad! About missing the conference, not about the baby. :) Although they are coming quicker the older I get - what's up with that?!
Gals, go if you are able. It really was a beautiful conference.
It was nice catching up here tonight. I seem to only pop in once a month or so anymore.
Much love,

Congratulations, Erica!
I do hope to be there this year. I've been able to make it to the last two conferences. They have been very uplifting and encouraging to me.

Bumping this up. Michele sent out a reminder that early registration ends soon. Having helped plan a conference it is so helpful to have a little idea of expected attendees.
I plan on making a day trip to Lancaster on Saturday, July 25th. I need a good nature study shot in the arm by MacBeth.
Anyone local want to come along for the ride? Please pm me!

I can't go, either. Irish dance strikes again! Have fun, everyone...

Well, I'm not local enough for shared driving to make sense, but I am planning on being there and look forward to meeting you!
I have been the past two years and was on the fence until I found out about MacBeth's talk. I am looking forward to that nature study jolt as well!
