Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone used LiveJournal?

How did (do) you like it?

Is it strictly for journal keeping?

What are the differences between it and a blog?

???????

TIA!

I was on LiveJournal for a while before I moved to Blogspot/Blogger (and then MT self-hosted and then WP self-hosted). It's a bit like Multiply -- it's not just a blog, you can have a community, etc. and can be private/public, etc. I wasn't too much into community, so that feature was kinda wasted on me, and at the time I was on LJ there were only a handful of people I knew who were into blogging (family members, a few close friends) so we just visited each other's sites and commented, etc. It *was* fun to hold looooong conversations over a period of weeks/months... so as we eventually lost interest and went to try other things we just let LJ go...

You *could* treat it like a journal and just blog for yourself, privately.
