Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I always see such beautiful pictures on lots of blogs, so crisp and clear. So I was wondering if it is the camera that people use or if they resize their pictures before putting them on their blog. I have Kodak easyshare (don't get me started!) and I resize my pictures to "best for web" so they don't take up much space on my wordpress blog. But they never look the way I want. I really want a new camera (mine drives me crazy!, on the screen it looks clear, but when I download the pictures most are blurry ) but I was wondering how other people put their pictures on their blogs. Do you put them as is, or resize them or what. I guess I try for an artsy style blog ( I am always taking food pictures like they would be in a magazine )
Help!

if the actual size of the photo you upload is smaller than the size you tell it to be, it may get pixilated.

I have most of my pictures as jpg, and I upload them as such.. if I resize to upload I tend to either make it the size I want or I use 568x426 for the size. I like the size for a "big" picture, it loads fairly fast and it can be made smaller nicely.

I think the main thing is not to energe it bigger than the actual size of the picture.
