i have two girls who would love more clothing for their bitty babies. i'm a little sticker shocked by american girl's prices of 45 per outfit! anyone know where i could get 15" doll clothes at a reasonable price?

(just google "Bitty Baby" and "doll clothes" - you will get a ton. I had another that I hhave bought from that I liked but I can't find the link. Also, I get some great deals on ebay/etsy too.)

I just bought two bags of baby clothes at the local consignment shop for my dd's babies. For $5--a bag sale.
Not sure if that will work for a 15 inch doll. Dd has a big baby that fits into newborn to 6 month clothes if they are cut right. She is going to be so busy(and thrilled).

I love this website for our doll clothes. I have ordered from them in the past and as far as I can tell, their sewing is secure. At least the items have survived 18 mos in my house.

I found adorable sets of dresses for the dolls and girls for $15 at TJ Max. They've had them more than once.

the clothes came and they were well sewn and very cute. the lady who made them threw in a few extra items and a sweet note.
thanks saigemom, i will keep my eyes open at tjmax, although i have never seen doll clothes there before.

What wonderful little gifts did you get?
My girls got a pair of shoes, and an outfit. The extra outfit was in a gift sack for the birthday girl who was to receive it.

angi, i ordered a bitty baby dress, 2 playsuits, and 2 sleepers with hats. the lady threw in an extra playsuit and shoes. my little girl is going to be thrilled.
