Hi Ladies!
I'm sure that by now, most of you have heard about the horrific Eucharistic desecration that is going on on You Tube right now. I just wanted to post about it quickly (hopefully someone hasn't already done it) so that others know what is going on and so that other faithful Catholics can take a stand against You Tube and Google for allowing this!
Here are the 4 points of action that many are participating in:
1. Call YouTube (which is owned by Google) at 650-253-000 then press 0 to talk with an operator.
2. You may also fax YouTube at 650-253-0001 with your complaint. (I don't have access to faxing, so I wrote a letter to send in the mail: YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave.
San Bruno, CA 94066)
3. Finally, flag the videos in question by clicking on the "Flag" button right under the video. Next, choose "Hateful or Abusive Content." Next, choose "Promotes hatred or violence." Finally, choose "religion" as the group that is being attacked. Under the specific reason, you may type something to the effect, "He is desecrating a consecrated Host, which I hold sacred. I request YouTube to enforce its policy regarding not posting antireligious videos on this occasion as it has done so in the past." The following link will take you to the section containing these videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHcVEAsRNUQ . Caution: The videos are truly revolting.
As an aside, I didn't watch any of the videos, I couldn't bear to. However, I just paused them before they started and flagged every single one.
I can't even believe this... It's so tragic.

I watched 2 of his videos, they are terrible. I flagged them but had to stop at 2. I cannot even wrap my mind around this right now. I clicked a few other You Tubes that popped up with his. What are people thinking?

I never can wrap my brain around this sort of thing. Why would ANYONE want to do something like this? So he doesn't believe, that is his God-given freewill, but why be so hurtful to others who do believe?
I just can't understand it. I just can't.

It makes me want to go to church, sit before the Blesed Sacrament and weep. I thank Jesus that He comes to us and in His love is so vulnerable to this sort of abuse. His sacrifice and love truly have no end. And it also makes me want to make sure that all I say and do and think and feel honours and glorifies the Lord Jesus. I pray that one day this boy will know how wrong he has been.

I hadn't heard of this before now. I think I'm going to be sick.

Your link didn't work. Could you re-post it.
Even though I know better, I watched one of the you tube videos and was absolutely sick. I know that there have always been people who hate the Catholic Church, and this isn't the first time that someone has desecrated a consecrated host. But never before in history could a person like that reach so many people and spread his hate so quickly as they can now with the internet. Before his sick humor would be contained within his sick little group of friends. Now, it's out there for the world.
I'm not sure where my thoughts are going with this. Sometimes the internet seems like more of a negative than positive. Maybe I need a big internet break.

Trying again: here
If it still doesn't work, you could retype:

I know what you mean about all the negative potential on the internet... There is also so much power for good, though.
