I'm looking into buying a bread machine or a Bosch Mixer. I'm pulling information from this thread. Which Bosch Mixer is the one referred to? Meredith? Anyone? There are so many on the Bosch website!
Thanks!

I recently bought a Bosch Mixer and I absolutely love it! I purchased the newest model, the Universal Plus. It's powerful, huge, and does 6 loaves of bread with no problem. Yesterday, I made 6 loaves in hardly anytime at all. It's amazing how fast you can make bread. I also love that I can triple, quadruple cookie recipes and it has no problem with that. It's my favorite kitchen tool! Here's where I purchased it from:

It also comes with a free blender. You can attach the blender to the base of the Bosch. It's great for making smoothies. Hope this helps you a little.

Hi ladies, I have the same one as Trixie and like her I absolutely love it. The blender alone is used multiple times daily for smoothies, sauces, bread crumbs, dressings, etc. It has kind of replaced my food processor. The mixer is hands down my favorite. No more lifting the heavy Kitchen Aid onto the counter and it's a snap to clean up. Violet my baker extrodinaire loves it too
We do pizza dough, many loves of bread simultaneous with my Zojurishi bread machine and our kitchen has become very streamlined and efficient, that is when I'm not unpacking
Looking forward to hearing what you decide!
Blessings,

After poking around here and lurking on a mixers loop for a month or more, I am going to purchase the Bosch Universal. I'm still saving up though. My current mixer hasn't finished breaking yet, although its on its way...

I have the old version of the Universal and I LOVE it!! My first one lasted 13 years with heavy use, and I have had the second one for three or four years now, I use it several times a week. I have the processor and blender to go with it. I also have the larger stainless steel bowl for mixing even more bread(I don't use it anymore with only two kids at home).

Ooh, Cindy I didn't know they had a larger metal bowl to go with, I'll have to peek at that for extra baking day!!
Blessings,
