Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi dear mothers,
I need some help in suggesting to the leader of the Family Commission group I am in an alternative to Ministry of Moms sharing (MOMS) Here's the review from Catholic Culture. It encourages us to go the the Women for Faith and Family website, but I had some difficulty navigating it and I'm really looking for something that is super easy to implement.
Johnette Benkovic's Women of Grace? What else is out there that would practically run itself and is faithful to the Magisterium?

Thanks for any help you can offer!
God bless,
Angela

Oh Angela, this is very upseting. Our newly formed Women's Council is implementing this program very soon! I just sent the link to our V.P.
I hope I don't get stoned for this.

I am therefore also anxious to hear about any alternatives.

Um I don't know much about either group but the bad review was really not very informative if you are basing it strictly on the review. Just a thought Annie

Hi Stephanie and Annie,
Oh Stephanie, I hope you really don't get stoned for this! I'm sorry for that, but I always think more knowledge is better.

Annie, I think the purpose of MOMS - to gather mothers together to form a network of mutual spiritual support in a chaotic society - is a good one, but when several of the contributors are known best for their public dissent from Catholic teachings, I run the other way. I want something solid where I don't have to keep my radar up all the way through!

Anyone ever belonged to any type of solid Catholic Mom's program? Thanks!
God bless,
Angela

We have a preogram called Mother's at the Well" It meets monthly with different seasonal topics and occasional speakers. There is no set program though. I will post a link later, but right now my parish website is down for some reason.

I participated in the MOMs program several years ago in our parish - I would not do it again. Cannot pinpoint why - did not like it, would not recommend it.
