I've just started the first of my now daily posts over at StarryMantle in my Tuesdays with St Anne series, as Amy had kindly pointed out that if you start a double novena today (Aus) or tomorrow (US) it will finish on the feast of St Anne on the 26th - so the first novena of petition, the second in thanksgiving.
I will be posting the daily novena prayer to St Anne over at StarryMantle as I'm using a novena to her that has a different prayer for each day - also I'll have a different image of St Anne each day and some information on the shrine of St Anne deBeaupre (350th anniversary year this year)
Also, I will have a gemstone, vintage reproduction chaplet of St Anne (with the St Anne deBeaupre medal), leave a comment with a link back to your blog or if you don't have a blog, please email me over at starrymantle, I'll put your name on the list, my dh will draw it on the 26th of July.
Can anyone help me in showing me how to put an email address in the sidebar of blogger with 'email me' as an active link that will take you to my email address? Many thanks.

Oh, how lovely.
St. Anne is my patron saint (my name is Nancy) and I've always loved the story of the faith of St. Anne and St. Joachim. Thank you for sharing this double novena.
We're so blessed to have such a beautiful, faith-filled heritage, aren't we? From the Holy Land to Europe to Canada, Mexico and the rest of the western hemisphere, to Australia and Africa and Asia...the saints are interceding for us, the Blessed Mother brings our petitions to her Son, and our Savior grants His mercy to all who ask. It's a wonderful and humbling thought.

I'd love to learn more about the shrine...any ideas where to start? My great grandmother's family seemed to have quite an affinity for the shrine...my mother remembers my ggm sister visiting there often, and somewhere I have some holy cards or booklets inherited from my ggm. As my mother discerns a call to religious life, she has asked about the shrine a few times...she would like to visit there this summer.

Elizabeth (doris) has been a real treasure in giving me a link to a priest in the US who is blogging each day in July on St Anne - it is masterfully written, I highly recommend a visit to Eveningdevotions to read what Father has written so far and to follow him through to St Anne's feast (I imagine)

KT75 - Yesterday I left a link to the Shrine at deBeaupre which is worth visiting, I'm hoping to write about the shrine and it's history during this next 18days or so, over at StarryMantle.
