for all the prayers and good wishes on our move. We left the big square state (that would be Colorado!  ) on June 7th and made it to Virginia on the 11th -- just in time to meet and greet with some amazing 4real women IRL at the IHM conference....
I would have posted sooner, but it took this long to get internet into the house (and I just couldn't see trying to check in with 4real at the Panera on their free wi-fi as I'm usually on here a few hours!  ) ...
Anyway, thanks to you all for the good wishes -- please keep the prayers coming as our house in Denver still hasn't sold but we know God will sell it in His time, not ours.
Blessings and hugs and I'm back in the saddle again!

Mary were your ears buzzing after the conference... at about 7 pm??
MC, Elizabeth and I were all talking about how great it was to meet you, how we loved your deep voice (and not the high one we pictured?!?!?) ... and
... HOW COMPOSED YOU WERE!!! You just moved!!! You gave no sign that you were in a stressful situation!
As soon as I wrap up the year (I am definitely not as composed!!), we need to get together.

That's so funny -- I was always mistaken for my brothers when I lived at home ... I've always had a deep voice (and then a few years of smoking thru college added a bit of depth) and there you go!

Hopefully we can meet sometime soon. Welcome to Northern Virginia. Many people complain about the traffic, congestion, etc., but I love it!

Leonie -- I wanted to PM you -- on our way east we stopped in OakRidge to visit one of our favorite Dominican Sisters and she had just found out she's being sent to Sydney to start their mission at the University of Sydney -- if you have the chance to go meet the good Dominicans, you will love them! Sr. Mary Sarah (the old one who I think is about my age  ) will be the leader of the pack coming in August!

All this joy in this thread --- well let me tell you 2000 miles away, there is still sadness  . It does feel weird when I'm up near your old place - like yesterday when I went to Albertson's or any day we are at a b-ball game. I get an empty feeling. 
But seriously, glad you are back on the 'net, so at least I can feel like we are still connected on a daily basis.
