Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm behind on posting my happy times meeting some 4Real Ladies in real life!

Gwen (MomWise) met me in May in DC with her daughter.

Last week KC with all her family came over.

And the next day Natalia and her family came to Fair Oaks Mall and met a group of us.

I added some pictures on my blog.

I love summer! I get to make new friends, or meet the online and solidify the friendship!

Thanks Gwen, KC, and Natalia for adjusting your schedules to come visit. I had a great time!

PS I can't make Friday at the IHM Conference, but let me know (PM) if you'll be at the Conference Saturday afternoon so I can keep an eye out for you!

Who have you met recently?

Wow! Jenn. I haven't even met Natalia yet!

And I laughed when I read your post with apologies for not "cropping the picture". That little peek of the toy-strewn floor and the children playing was so 4REAL! Cropping indeed!

So glad you all had fun.

It was sooooo much fun! Jenn is a wonderful hostess. The babies were awfully cute. All in all we had a great time. It was much too short though. We could have stayed for hours longer!

It has been pretty busy these two weeks, but isn't it always the case, feast or famine?

Having lived in Shreveport, it's funny how "far away" South Louisana is to the "Ark-LA-Tex".

I didn't even notice the toys...I was looking at the pantry door and wall space. Cropping would mean a better close up of the faces.

I love how little toy kitchen is universally attractive to all ages and genders. New children suddenly feel at home playing in the kitchen.

It was great to see everyone and meet Natalia. We had such a fun time. The weather didn't cooperate for a picnic, but the older girls enjoyed doing a little shopping with new friends and old, and my 5yo dd loved playing with Natalia's and Jenn's sons. Thanks for posting the pics, Jenn!

It was so amazing to meet so many of you today! I should have brought my pen and paper to keep track, there was so many. We met for lunch at the IHM conference and I felt so lucky to be able to sit with you all and listen to what your homeschooling plans are, as well as just enjoy your company. I do apologize if I missed introducing myself to all of you.

I know I will mess it up, so I won't even try to name all the wonderful ladies. But, I do say "hello!" to everyone I met, as well as the 2 lurkers I met today as well!

Fuzzy is right, it was such a blessing to meet everyone and see old friends! I can't tell you how much joy I felt yesterday - nor can I explain how much I needed to spend an afternoon immersed in All Things Catholic. All of the 4Real ladies I've met IRL are so warm and welcoming...those I met yesterday for the first time and others whom I've met at other events.

And...thanks for bringing all your darling, cuddly babies! I was so sad that I was coughing so much that I couldn't offer to hold them, but I really loved seeing all the little ones I've prayed for in person, smiling, and healthy!

Nancy... it was so much fun to meet you!! I missed saying goodbye!!

Ditto what Fuzzy said!! I'm going to try and name everybody, but jump in those that I fogot.. and thanks to Kacky for delivering and organzing all the planners (from another thread that I'm too lazy to find and link).

Okay we were: Two lurkers that I already knew, Elizabeth, KackyK, JenL., Mary Chris, Elizabeth, Molly Davis, msclavel, Kirsten, Nancy (Guitarnan), MarilynW, Fuzzy, JennGM (came later), Rachel May (came later), Mary G, Ruth, Amanda, Linda M., and... I KNOW I'm missing a few... jump in and remind me. I haven't finished my coffee yet...

Wasn't Molly Smith there?

I did come later. I was having a little stressful day and I can't believe how much visiting for a few hours really perked me up. To meet so many friends and family in one place, it's just a happy time! Since I was a late arrival I only saw Marilyn, Rachel May, Maryan, Mary G., Lisa the Lurker and another lurker, I believe (although I know her IRL), Amyable with her baby. And Margot was there and we chatted a bit. I didn't have a chance to really peruse tables, so I'm going back this afternoon.

And... there were so many surprising things: like Mary G has a lovely deep voice (I don't know why I "heard" you with a higher voice), and that Molly Davis has such an Irish face.

And non surprising things: that it wasn't awkward at all meeting anyone and that Ruth's baby is just too cute with the dimples!

And MANY THANKS to Elizabeth and gang for watching my crew!!

Yep, I was there, but only for a short time. I talked to Ruth for a few minutes (and yes, her little sweetheart is adorable!!), but I had to do a little shopping before heading out. I really only had time for talks. I wish I could've stayed longer!!
