Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have a credit I can use on some clothing (and a bag, Dawn ).

I'm in need of shirts and cropped pants. I'm petite, temporarily well-endowed, need nursing access, and still have some excess baby weight around the tummy and hips.

Which fabric is most comfortable in the pants? The one wiht the stretch, chinos?

I'm trying to steer clear of knit shirts, as they expose too much. Any comment about some of the cotton button down shirts? 3/4 or short sleeve length to leave untucked? I like a classic look, not too sporty casual.

Just a thought Jenn - I love the cotton button downs, but they need to be ironed. Bummer.

Jenn,
I bought the Perfect Fit pants, hoping they would be a good transition piece. They are not! They are very comfortable and cool, but not at all forgiving of any extra weight. Once I lose the weight, I think I will feel more comfortable wearing them out in public. Right now, they are in the house pants.

I don't have any other LL Bean clothes, so I can't give you a positive suggestion. I wanted to save you from spending your credit on something that might not work for you.

Jenn,

I know you asked for cropped pants but just in case you're open to regular length pants, these are really comfortable and flattering and stretchy and hide the bumps well. :-) . sorry, I don't have any suggestions on shirts, though.

Oh, you've got to love the new summer bags!

I just wore my sleeveless stretch-poplin shirt today - green tea plaid. It fits and feels wonderful.

Have fun, Jenn!
