Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

In this thread on vices Theresa and I confessed to a love of Sharpies. I couldn't let the perfectly pointed, colorful writing utensils go down with my other vices...so I thought we could start a list of our favs - things that really make life easier and arguably more beautiful.

2. Downy wrinkle release spray - a miracle product!
3. Oil of Olay face wipes - timesaver!
4. steam in the bag frozen veggies
5. Clorox wipes

3. Binders with page protectors
4. My mixer
5. I'm thinking about it and will edit later

God bless,
Christine

1) Our king sized temperpedic mattress
2) Robeez shoes for babies and toddlers.
3) My heavy duty garlic press.
4) Ikea, including their meatballs, though, we only go twice a year to stock up on glasses
5) My chair, which I don't have yet, but I spent two babies without a comfy place to sit, nurse, and rock. Dh let me order an expensive Dutailier recliner last month--so it had BETTER be a favorite, lol.

ETA: We love netflix and the square pan scraper, but I figured they were "taken"

I am totally going to cheat here because there's no way I can pick just 5:

1. my small appliances -- vintage Cuisinart and my DLX mixer/blender
2. my Catamount fat separator that I broke 3 months ago and still haven't replaced
3. my digital toys -- camera, cell phone and laptop
4. the Lamy fountain pen that I lost
5. and, aherm... my Amazon Visa

Hey, how about a virtue thread? The 'vice' threads are getting dangerous!!

3. Music.
4. Candles, preferably scented.

I haven't tried Crocs, but I did buy some "ballerina" shoes in January. (Just like the black cloth Chinese sandals that we'd get in Chinatown when I was little.)They don't have any cushion to them, but I love them. They're my "inside shoes."

How fun! I love almost all of everything everyone has put up there. Here are mine.

1. KitchenAid Stand Mixer (I would marry it if I could!)
2. Cuisinart Food Processor (this would be my boyfriend!)
3. The Creative Family book I just got
4. My computer
5. My new sewing room (this is where the KitchenAid and I would live!)

Blessings,
Betsie
PS If I could add a 6th it would be my youngest dd's teeny tiny powder pink Mary Jane Crocs. I just love to look at them!
