DD-17 is going to try and "graduate" by August this year and as one of her graduation presents I told her she could order herself a photobook -- kinda like a high school yearbook where she could have pictures of family and friends, field trips, etc. from the past few years. We thought we'd use the one from Costco (mypublisher.com) but then I saw some negative reviews.

Those of you who have used photobook services in the past, which company would you recommend? Any other insights and suggestions welcome!

I have used Shutterfly's photobook maker. I have two so far, and I would order from them again. I was happy with the options, it was user friendly, and I felt that the price was fair. I was also able to find discount codes and wait for free shipping promotions.

I have never used another company for photobooks, but I have been satisfied with Shutterfly.

I think this is a great idea for your daughter. :-)

I have used shutterfly and been very happy with the results. I've made soft cover books, as well as hard cover books.

Their customer service is great, too. At Christmas, I made a book of our previous years vacation as a gift for DH. They mistakenly shipped me someone else's book. I contacted them via email immediately, and they shipped me a new book the next day with no problem.

I have also used mypublisher.com and that book was nice, too. But, since I have used shutterfly for 7+ years now, I already have tons of pictures uploaded there and tend to keep using them.
