I have decluttered my bedroom to the point that tonight I have completly ripped it apart and I am attempting a redo on what I already own. Redesign on a dime (literally), any suggestions? I do not want to paint, as I spent alot on this Goldleaf color,and it is such a pain to paint, it is staying until.......well a long time

Molly--You are truly cracking me up this weekend...I have an idea...put fresh sheets on your bed AND LIE DOWN!!!!!! But if you insist on a redo, I recently decluttered in the bedroom and then changed things up a bit by rearranging the things on the walls into visually interesting groups, using spare ribbon to create curtain tie-backs, and putting some recent photos in frames on our bed side tables...I've invested in a few new touches...two vintage lamp tables from a nearby thrift store and $20 worth of wall hangings from Hobby Lobby, and the transformation has been substantial. I want to straighten that room up each and every day because I love the way it looks. This decluttering thing really works.

I know, can you tell I am a little high strung

I am sewing new curtains out of fabric from my stash, I am switching out area rugs from another room and trying to change wall art to bring a fresh new look to this room.

I think I fear I may be put on bed rest and I don't want to be stuck in this room as is or as was

Put some pretty landscapes in there, if you have them--give yourself a place to "wander" in your mind, if you should be stuck in bed.

GL! I'm getting packed up this next week, and the changes shall be at once exciting and terrifying (I dislike change).
