You may already know this, but just in case:

When shopping online, before you hit the "Place My Order" button, google name+of+vendor and the word "promo" or "coupon" or "coupon code" -- you just might find some more savings you can squeeze in.

Sometimes certain vendors will allow 2 coupon codes.

If you shop through UPromise (I try, but often forget), there are built in savings but coupons may still be allowed.

One more site to check out is fatwallet.com -- an IRL friend taught me this -- he finds unbelievable bargains, like a $12 patio umbrella and a $29 microwave ($200 value).

I've found coupons to use online by doing google searches but a very reliable source was www.refundcents.com.

I didn't join as a member but you can access certain codes!

another is http://www.ebates.com (I've been using this for years and never had problems)

basically you go to the page and follow their link to the store and you can get 1-10% back from your purchases through ebates.. they also list coupons sometimes.. most stores seem to be in the 2-4% range.. but a little bit here and a little bit there adds up.

Then they send you the money either by check or through paypal quarterly. At the cutoff date you have to have at least $5 in your account to get the money but you don't lose it.. it just is saved until you have enough at the next cut off to have it sent.

You also get extra money for a referral.. (both the person doing the refering and the person signing up)

I'd be willing to send a referral (PM me or something).. but that is not why I'm posting this

Just thought I'd add one more online shopping resource.

Craigslist

First, you select your city or the closest city to you. Then, in the search field you can enter absolutely anything you've been looking for. I've been hunting for some furniture to match what my daughter has already. Craigslist is basically one huge online garage sale. There are some really great bargains there. I don't browse, but if I'm looking for something specific, I search Craigslist first!

I went looking for this deal, where did you find it? I was going to have to drive to the local Sears and have them order the stuff to get the free shipping. This would be a great time saver as well.
