Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I wasn't sure where to put this post. I want to start making blank books for the kids to fill out. I saw a blog post once with directions on how to sew the pages together...of course, now I can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction??

Here is one method for making books. These are pretty simple. DD(7) just made a few for her cousins for Bday gifts.

5 stich bookbinding

I do know another method, I will try to find my links for directions. I have used it to make logbooks. It is a little more challenging, but you can actually sew the magazines of paper together with thread. The first method requires you to punch the paper before stitching the book up. I use a leather punch for mine.

ETA I found a good picture tutorial.
Bookmaking

I have made books like this one, although I don't use cloth to bind the book, and I have only used paper as the inside cover.

If you decide you're not up to making your own yet, you might look into Bare Books.
