Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

They haven't announced the plan for DC yet. Rest assured you're not the only one who wants to know!

The Mass will be at the new Nationals Stadium. Expect total traffic chaos...it will barely be finished and they've only built 1600 parking places. I doubt Metro will be ready for the crowds...!!!

Nancy,

Do you have an in at the Navy Yard?

The Metro at least is very close to the stadium, but you are right it will be a zoo.

My Syracuse diocese has been given 500 tickets (for 120 parishes ) We filled out an application to receive three tickets-they say it will be first come first serve--we got our paperwork in quickly--so hopefully we will be blessed.

MC - that is a great idea. Yes, we have stickers. I'll ask dh about parking options there.

Even our parish has been allotted some tickets although I'm not sure for which mass. We won't be able to go though but if we could I would applied right away!

I checked the Archdiocese of Washington and they indicate that more info is forthcoming, but that events like this usually have tix allocated through parishes and similar organizations.

You might want to contact your Chancery. That's how it works here (in CT).
