Well, actually, we arrived safely in London on Friday, December 7th and traveled to Pembrokeshire on Sunday. On Monday, we unpacked at our temporary home in Penally and then we were given a tour of the area. You cannot imagine how beautiful it is here! The children have been exploring on the beach and all around. You cannot imagine how beautiful the shells are!
Unfortunately, I did not have phone service until last Friday nor Internet until today. But it certainly gave me a wonderful opportunity to explore the area. Our air shipment should be in this week (which is good since it contains Christmas presents).
Please pray for the sale of our home. We have an interested buyer so hopefully that will work out well. Also, we need to find a more permanent location ... either a long term rental or a purchase.
And if you are ever over this way, let me know so I can give you a tour!

How do they say YIPPEE in England? It sounds absolutely wonderful! I will continue prayers for all matters on this continent. I'm sure you don't miss the winter blast that just went through your former heartland!
Blessings ~

Congratulations. I hope that all works out well for you and your family. We will pray for the sale of your home through the intercession of St. Joseph.

[SuzC]How do they say YIPPEE in England? ] I don't know but from the English people I know in Aus, they LOVE saying "Cheers" when they are happy!
So pleased to hear you have arrived and settled Carole, I have two friends going to England this year coming (one is leaving for England on my due date.)
I will pray to St Joseph that your home sells quickly.

So glad to hear you really are finally there! Praying that your house sells and that everything else arrives safely. You'll have to post pictures once you get more settled!
Peace,

Carole
Are you in England? I thought you were in Wales? Or are you in transit?
So it is snowing there I assume. Are the beaches sandy or rocky?
Look forward to pictures.

Oh Carole! I am so happy to hear from you! I received my mill from you and am LOVING it...and when I sent you a private message I figured you were "in limbo" with your move. I'm glad to hear you are getting settled!
And once again, THANK YOU!! We are loving having the mill and our yummy bread!!

It is not snowing here. In fact, we would consider this mild weather! But the Welch talk about the weather as though they are amazed that it could be raining or cold. It very rarely snows here. Our low temps are around 30 and a hot summer day is 75. Perfect climate for me!
The beaches are sandy with some rocky parts as well. The children have found the most lovely shells and have spotted a variety of other items especially seaweed that they make into something called lavabread. No I have not tried it yet, but I have seen it offered on menus in some of the resturants.
We have a tree, but it is not yet up. My dh cannot find a stand, so he will build one tonight. We do keep our tree up until Epiphany, but it was just cut down last week. My Advent banner and Advent house are in my air ship, so placing the items on it may become a mute point unless it arrives soon.
So we may have a small Christmas celebration, but we are all quite happy to be here. We have found a lovely church in Tenby, The Church of the Holy Rood and St. Telios (who was born in Penally). Last Sunday was our first visit and dh and I were asked to bring up the gifts.
There is a primary school connected with the church and already Father has approached both dh and I about teaching. There is no youth group or CCD, but they offer religion in the school in Tenby. I am sure it is some sort of survey course, so perhaps dh will find a use for his Theology degree here. Of course, we will continue to hs all of the children.
And I am not computer literate enough for pictures. Maybe my ds can help me with that. It would be a shame not to share.
