Can anyone compare these shoes: The Dansko professional and the All Day Comfort clogs from LL Bean?
Also, I know they're supposed to kind of flop off your heel but how much? If you push your toes all the way forward, how much room is in the back by your heel?
Thanks! Did I say how much I hate shoe shopping?

Lisa -
I think there was a big conversation about this, maybe last fall? It may have been part of another, bigger topic, I can't remember. But I bet if you search the archives you'll find some back-and-forth about pros and cons of each.
Hope that helps.
Peace,
Nancy

Lisa, I have the Dansko professional and they do not slip off of my heal at all.

I find that this sitehttp://www.footprints.com/ has good deals in their sales section. I bought some Sanitas on clearance from there. They are the European name for Dansko. They are roomy in my toes and slip on easily, but they only move a little bit on my heels but don't slip off (my heel is never exposed and I don't lose my shoes), and I have narrow; so, having shoes where they intentionally move a bit is more comfy than shoes that shouldn't move rubbing blisters.
I like them a lot, and I would buy them again!

FWIW, I don't have either type of clogs, but I have had footwear from LL Bean in the past and did not think they were comfortable.

Many people swear by the Danskos. My pediatrician says they are the only shoes she can be in for 36 hours.
