Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I recently found out I can watch EWTN on my computer!! The kids were plugged in Saturday am for an hour--joy, joy    Some decent Saturday morning TV.
We all watched the Worldwide Children's Adoration last week.
So, tell me all I have been missing. What are your favorite "shows" and when are they on?
Thanks in advance from a very excited, usually non-TV watching, Anne

Anne,

no help here -- just a question. How do you watch EWTN? We don't have cable or satellite, but would love to catch EWTN ... but how?

I go to their website. I google search EWTN each time    I'll get that figured out soon. Anyhow, at their website I choose television(top left side), Live TV-english, Windows Media and 300 and it works for me!!! I am sure depending what your computer has in it you might have to make different choices. I am learning more and more each day about computers. It is a small screen to watch but I am thrilled anyhow.
Hope that helps you!
Anne

We don't get EWTN any more, but what I liked the most was The World Over with Raymond Arroyo. It is a news show from a Catholic perspective. I don't even know if it is on anymore, so I can't tell you what time it is on. I also liked anything with Fr. Rutler.

I can watch it on my computer too , here in Germany!
A friend of mine who runs a homeless men's center in Chicago was interviewed on EWTN. I hadn't seen him in years!
I try to check the program schedule regularly to see what themes are being discussed and which catholic personalities are to be interviewed.

Dr. Timothy O'Donnell (Christendom College) was my high school Scripture Study teacher. I love watching him (or listening to podcasts) because he's just as great now as he was then, with every sentence full of love of Our Lord.

Our favorite EWTN shows are:

*Fr. Corapi (Sat. evenings but on many different times)
*The Journey Home (Monday evenings or replayed on Sat. evenings..........perfect for date night)
*Threshold of Hope with Fr. Mitch Pacwa (Tues evenings)

There are so many good programs. My children also enjoy the children's hour from 3 to 4pm CST. Thursdays are their favorite due to the Donut Man! Look on EWTN's webpage for times and show schedules. Hope that helps some.

Here is a link to the EWTN Programming Schedules.

Our children occasionally enjoy some of the programming at 4pm (east coast time) or Saturday mornings.
If I am being a night owl (most nights ), I enjoy watching the Mass readings and finally the homily right before heading to bed.

Blessings!
