For the premeire of Survivor? Now I think you know almost all my vices , craft collector, poor blogger, not enough posts and Survivor fan. We watch it as a family, the kiddos like to watch the challenges. It does crack me up that Survivor and Extreme Makeover Home Edition are the only two prime time shows we watch as a family.

I used to watch it. It was the very last show I watched before heading to the hospital to have my first baby, so I have a soft spot for Survivor.
But China looks interesting! I was thinking about tuning in this season.

If we had the money, I would consider hitting Panda Express tonight to celebrate the new Survivor. Unfortunately, we do not watch it is a family. My husband burnt out on it about four or five seasons ago, and my older daughter (almost 5)only likes the challenges. I watched an hour-long Survivor pre-view on the TV Guide Channel and I'm really stoked for it.
We usually watch American Idol and sometimes Dancing with the Stars as a family. Although, last night we tried out Kid Nation. My husband didn't really love it, but he's going to give it another try next week. It was interesting to discuss it with my daughter and I was very proud of her when she said that they should choose the extra outhouses over the television when the kids were given a choice. I must admit to getting a little teary-eyed at the end of the episode when the first kid won a $20,000 gold star and the chance to call her parents and tell them.

THANK YOU MARY CHRIS!!! You have completely and totally made my day!!! I thought I had missed the premiere. I'm having a weird, slightly bummer day, but you have saved it, there is something way exciting to look forward to now to pull me through...woohoo!
Oh...and my other favorite...Amazing Race!!! Anyone know when that will come on again???

I'm not sure when Amazing Race is starting. Two weeks ago I was at the Vienna library and saw two people wearing tie-dye rainbow shirts that said Amazing Race and had a phone number. I should have looked around for a clue box but we had a soccer game to get to. I'm sitll wondering if it was the real Amazing Race. I didn't see a camera crew so maybe they were just doing research. But now we have a good reason to watch the show.
I have to say, I don't get Lost at all. My dh watches it though. I'm more of a police drama fan. And I wonder why I don't sleep well at night when dh is traveling .

I wish I liked Chinese food or Survivor -- maybe if they had Survivor Tex-Mex???? Or Survivor in Antarctica and then I could have Ice Cream??
ETA - and I'm totally a police drama/mystery type buff too MC -- that must explain my insomnia during basketball season.

I am so glad you posted this Mary Chris! I wanted to check out Survivor this year (haven't watched since the All Star season) and completely forgot it started tonight! Ooh, what fun!
Unfortunately, I already popped potatoes in to bake and my oldest has his heart set on "taco spuds" for supper.
