Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

That's so funny--my kids keep track, too! (And I'm not meeting their expectations.)

My husband was shocked out of his mind at mine. He was thinking like. . .20.

Mine too, Sarah! I only recently divulged to him how many posts I've made in two years time.

Now my boys, they think the apples should change into something else over time - like oranges or bananas or something. Just to keep things interesting.

Almost everyone here thinks I have too many. I keep explaining mine by saying (a) Mrs. Miller has more and (b) I started first. They still think mine's too high. Except for Patrick, who thinks that if you're going to do something, you should always be first or have the most. I wonder where he got that? From my dh, who only has one apple and covets my stars?

Oh sure, drag me into it! I wish I could reduce that amount. You SHOULD have the most. I keep trying to go on strike so that people can overtake me.

I have to admit, the first time Jenn introduced the family to this forum, we ALL we SHOCKED at the number of her posts! We LOVED that she was a "legend" (at the time, waay past that now ) and used to tease her about it. But then again, WE knew how wonderful she was with her wealth of knowledge. We liked seeing her "status."

Dawn, I like that idea! Imagine if we could pick what we wanted. The PC in me would want cookies or something!

My 8-yo is the one who gets on my case about this, the others don't care. He goes, Mom, you're still JUST a Forum Legend? He's disappointed when I tell him that's it. He's also disappointed when he sees there's a great number of us that are "legends". He seems to think there should only be a chosen few. I told him the "chosen few" are moderators, but he doesn't think "moderator" is exciting enough.

Now, is Migi saying he doesn't think moderators are exciting enough? If so, I need to talk him .

Love,
