Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Last night, our family attended our first Solemn High Mass. Well, actually the boys have been to a Low Mass at Clear Creek Monastery (and of course dh when he was younger). But being a convert, I had never attended one, nor has my dd.

We drove for almost two hours. I had started to feel ill just as we drove into town. I was so upset because I thought that I was not going to be able to attend, and the mass was celebrated by one of my most favorite priests. But thanks be to God, I started for feel better.

It was the most wonderful experience! There were several priest in attendance and many families that we have known for some time. It was great to gather together and worship. The music during the mass was so reverent ... I felt as though I was listening to the angels praising God. It nearly brought me to tears, it was so beautiful!

I so glad that I was blessed with this opportunity. I just wanted to share it with you ladies.

I have just come back from camp where we also have Latin Mass. This is the only time we get to Latin Mass and when we started the camp six years ago I attended LM for the first time

It truly is a wonderful experience, there is some mystery there that I am still trying to catch hold of, and the silence!! There is time to pray during Mass We are all still on a high ourselves so I know what you mean. Masses at camp are Low but the last morning we had a High Mass, and ds8 served

Are you planning on traveling again? Dh just said this morning that he thinks we need more than our yearly dose, we may drive to the nearest city (5 hours away ) that has Latin Mass, a few times a year

BTW, When are you moving to Wales? There is a 'retired' hs mum here in Australia who is also about to move back to Wales.
