Ugh, we went to Mass this morning and the school kids were there and now my kids are begging to return to school.
We have been home schooling for three years and it has been going well.
Has anyone had this happened to anyone?
How do you handle it without hurting any feelings?

Yes!
We CANNOT go to Mass when we know it's a "school Mass". The girls start asking all kinds of questions about why they can't go to "real school." It's horrible and I end up crying for DAYS. On Holy Days of OB, dh actually CONFIRMS with me...."you're not going to the school Mass, are you?"   

My kids are pretty young, so they DO forget easily, but it's still hard.

Last March, there was a thread.....I Want to go to REAL School that might help.

I liked Bridget's "response:"

"I understand why school might sound great to you, but mom and dad have decided that homeschooling is best for your soul, which will live forever. So we are going to keep homeschooling. But lets talk about what your friend is doing in school that sounds fun to you. Maybe we can come up with some ideas for us at home!"
