Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have any suggestions for potty training pants? The ones with the extra layer but still feels somewhat like underwear? Or a plastic cover for over her underwear or something like that?

Thanks! It's been a while since I've done this!

Lisa,
I think they are getting hard to find in actual stores these days cuz everyone uses Pull-ups.

The cloth training pants I recently bought were made by Gerber. They are pretty much the only cheaper end ones out there, I think.
I bought them at www.clothdiaper.com along with Gerber vinyl pants that my daughter wears over the underwear. (But I think they were having a sale at the time cuz I didn't pay $10 for 3!)
Seems like the Gerber underwear run approx. 2.50/pair or $7 for three. I thought this was alot -- seeing as I needed like 25 pairs -- you know, in case! But I searched around online (Amazon, Target, Kmart and BabiesR us I think all carry them -- at least online -- I think it's touch and go in the actual stores) and that seems to be the average rate.

Oh, if you care, the Gerber vinyl pants are kind of smelly cheap hot plastic -- I think Dappi carries more expensive plastic covers that are softer and less plastik-y, you know?

Hope that helps!    I just finished doing all the looking around/comparing prices/purchasing thing myself for the first time.

Lisa,

I bought the Gerber kind that Mary Theresa mentioned at Babies 'R Us recently. In the past, I've bought them at Target as well.

HTH,

I have the Gerber kind and I think I bought at JC Penney. I didn't have any luck with the Gerber cotton pants with the vinyl cover...leaked like crazy.

I bought these from Mother Ease. I thought they were very nice- light weight, cute, fit well. But dd would not wear them . I bought two pairs, and she wore each one once or twice for maybe an hour, and now I just have them hanging around until I decide what to do with them.

I also bought the bedwetter pants for my ds at night. They worked well but were very poofy, and, after wearing them for about 4 weeks, he developed some kind of allergic reaction to them. He was bright red wherever they touched his skin. I can't figure that one out- I didn't change detergents or anything else, but he was definitely reacting to something. So, again, I have those hanging around, too.

I did like the quality of both these products, though. I wish they would have worked better for us.
