How did the raffle go? Did we raise some good funds? Just curious as I thought this was such a great idea -- maybe next year we could open it to all members so those who aren't there could still buy raffle tickets (and cover cost of the shipping).....
So, how did it go?

It went really, really well. We haven't had a chance yet to do all the accounting on the conference but we have already dispersed scholarships to people who were able to purchase from the vendors there.
Incidentally, this is probably a good place to point out that this conference was entirely not-for-profit. Everything we made (whether through the raffle or the conference itself) will be poured right back into the ministry that is here on the boards.
Dawn has some pictures of the raffle items on here blog. It was quite an impressive spread. Thanks again to all you very generous donors.

The only bad thing about the raffle -- I didn't win anything. What a great assortment of items, such generous donors!
I really wanted to win your little bag, Mary, but I didn't buy enough tickets to stack the deck.

THANKS, that has truly made my day! As did Michele's letting me come speak at next year's Family-centered Conference!

I'm with Jenn -- I really wanted your bag (even though I don't actually knit... ) but didn't buy enough tickets!

I had the privilege of winning not one but two beautiful Christmas wreaths! I of course had stepped out to the ladies room when it happened and my DH gave me the news upon my return. I can't remember who made them but I just love them and can't wait for the Christmas season! Thank you, thank you!

I'm very glad you enjoy them. I used to do lots of Christmas craft shows with dh during the holiday season and we both really enjoyed it, but now it just seems to take too much time away from the littles. Plus, our moves with the military seemed to have averaged every 18 mos. to 2yrs, so packing and unpacking that stuff has become quite tiresome.
I was ever so glad to be able to donate them to such a great cause and am happy that you will enjoy them so.
