Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

and if so, what kind? Do you buy them at the pharmacy, or the health food stores?

We're just getting over a sickness here that sent one to the dr.'s office. The dr. instructed me to give her one Flintstone vitamin per day to build up her blood work #s.

Lisa, do you happen to sell Shaklee? I am SO impressed with their basic H cleaner (or whatever the super concentrated "natural" stuff is that works great on everything.) I'm hesitant to become a "member" or distributor but it looks like a good deal in the long run.
PM me if you are involved with the company. thanks

And we are infrequent and forgetful vitamin takers- but we did get in the habit of taking "Emergen C" during the winter months (the kids took 1/2 a packet) and we stayed much more healthy- which I would like to think is because of the vitamins. Trader Joes actually sells the same thing, in their own brand, at 1/2 the price...

What is the Trader Joe's brand called?

We take a multivitamin here every day- Walmart or Target brand with iron. We don't eat a lot of red meat, and my ds had borderline low iron at his 4 yr checkup. Just taking the generic vitamin with iron brought his levels up nicely. He eats iron-fortified cereal, lentils, raisins, spinach- the borderline iron was a surprise.

We've been having the kids take Gummi-vites from Price Club (you might call it Costco - but I just can't ). They don't have any artificial sweetener.

Dd takes one Teen OneSource a day, I was just looking at it this morning as the bottle is getting low and wondering if it is a gimmick...I can't remember why I fell for the Teen vs. Women vitamin this last time??? More Calcium? More Iron? More tiny print to read? Oh, for the old simplicity of Gummi-vites!
