I found this article very interesting so thought I'd share. I have to admit, with my last two labours, I found it helpful to be reciting the Rosary - took my mind off the pain although I am sure I got a few odd looks from the nursing staff.

I do too though to be honest it often becomes a long string of Hail Mary's with the occasional Our Father and Glory Be because I just say the 1st thing that pops into my mind as the contractions increase    Annie
