Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It was such a pleasure to meet some of you at the Conference in Chantilly this last weekend. I had such a fabulous trip! Thank you especially Mary Chris for inviting me to dinner so I could spend some time with a few other 4real ladies. (I even caught Sherry from CA for a few minutes on her cross-country trip.)

It is so gratifying to speak to REAL people and not just be typing on this computer all the time!! As an interesting aside and FYI - Hillside sells more products to VA and TX than any other states, by a wide margin. So hat tippin' to the folks who keep Hillside perking. I am so amazed and proud of all of you who make lovely homes for your children and nurture their souls by home educating. Can you tell I'm gushing after this trip?

God bless
Margot

Margot,

I am so glad you said yes to the dinner invitation. It was wonderful meeting another Californian transplant . Did you make it to Trader Joe's on Sunday? If not, I will take you there when you come in August. Looking forward to seeing you again!

Same here with Family-Centered Press. My dd noticed it when we were filling orders the other day.

I'm looking forward to seeing you again Margot. Are you going to Michigan this weekend? Baltimore Expo in 2 weeks?

I wonder why VA and TX are so holy?

I missed this entirely back when you first wrote, Margot. But I wanted to say that it was wonderful to meet you too and get together with other 4 Real-ers in person. Thanks, Mary Chris, for hosting a lovely dinner!

Hey Irene!
Great to meet you, too! Your little one was so sweet! Looking forward to going back to VA next month.

Sorry I couldn't make it to Colorado, Gwen! Sounds like it went well. I have to choose carefully my "faraway" conferences because it is hard on my family when I am gone (big surprise). And I get really tired if do too many. This year I went to the Wisconsin conference which was really nice -- really nice people -- and the year before I went to Minnesota. Maybe next year I can go a little more west!

My secret dream is to travel across country next summer ending in my home in California. It would be neat to hit conferences along the way - wow, don't know if I am organized enough for that!
