Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Ditto for old issues of Magnificat. I hate to throw these out. Anyone have suggestions?

dd like to collect the old cartoons in a photo box.

prayers she likes get laminated on an index card on a key ring for during mass -she can pick one for before commiunion for example

other wise they go in the "cut up" art box.

For the Magnificat, you might be able to donate these to a local prison and/or nursing home-- the meditations are fantastic, and having the readings, even if they can't be read on the "correct" day is still another way for God to touch their hearts.    As for the kids version . . . hmmmmmm . . . .

We also donate the kids version. There is a juvenille detention facility about 5 miles from our house and we drop them there, or we take them to the children's hospital chapel.

I think leaving them on the literature racks at your church (or something similar) is also a good idea. For us, I did not order it until I had seen an old issue and realized what it looked like -- I do not think their website is very helpful if you have never seen an issue.
