Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

what do you do when you get the rivulets of sweat running down your legs when you live someplace unrelentingly hot like South Carolina?

I love love love wearing skirts and dresses and wear them most of the time. They are even cooler than capris I'll agree, but am I the only one who hates sweaty legs that give you an unpleasant sensation when wearing skirts. I'm trying not to be indelicate . The problem is of course exacerbated by the post-partum ampleness in the thigh area which needs to be reduced .

What do you wear under your skirts to prevent that yucky sweaty feeling?

Kathleen,

I live in hot south TX and I know what you mean! I have been wearing skirts/dresses exclusively for 7 years and I just wear either biker shorts or I bought some cotton pantaloons that work well. It is a sacrifice but I need it.

I wear a shaper like this.
However, I got my at TJ Max for about $6 a pair. They work really great for those hot summer days!

I put a little bit of powder or corn starch on the insides of my upper thighs.... okay now you know my secret, lol. but it works great. and feels fresh without having extra clothes underneath.
