Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

If one wears a long denim skirt such as the riding skirt from LL Bean, would it look okay to wear a shirt such as this one
LL Bean Pima Cotton shirt
with it? I would be wearing the skirt only in spring, summer, and early fall, with sandals. Or would this skirt only look good with a button down the front shirt? Or is a plain t-shirt only okay if I have some sort of jacket to go over it?

Please help me, I have little fashion sense.

Of course! Relax, Kelly it's just clothes! Toss your favorite shirt on, add a string of beads (or not) add a scarf around your neck or your head or as a belt at your waist but just have FUN!!!
Deal?

I don't have any fashion sense that I know of

But imo anything that can be worn with jeans.. goes with a denim skirt.

That exact T shirt, along with a variety of skirts, is my summer "uniform"...usually with matching flip flops. But I am probably the wrong one to be giving fashion advice!

Yes! That is a GREAT combo! Love it!

This has nothing to do with the actual "combo", but more about the CUT of the shirt.... (Marihalojen is going to shoot me, after she just said "relax"... )

Some people are larger on the top....and they say supima cotton clings a bit more, makes your chest look bigger than it is??? I'm not saying this is IMMODEST, just pointing it out as a "what you feel comforable with" thing. OTOH, some say supima cotton minimizes the bust area.

It is also a "straight-cut t-shirt". As opposed to a more fitted shirt (tighter at the ribs/waist). Everyone's body type is different......just something to keep in mind......

I'm larger in the hips, and feel like the straight cut shirts make me look pudgy. My neighbor prefers straight cut and looks great in them.

It does both sorta.. if the shirt "pulls" across the bustline it will exaggerate it.. if it's just cut closer (not pulling) it will minimize just because there's not extra fabric enlarging the area.
