One of my greatest friends is moving to Jackson, Wyoming from here in kansas. She's never moved before. Her family is from here and so is her husband's. She and her dh are our oldest 3 yo dd's godparents and we are her oldest 4 yo dd's godparents. She has a 2 year old and an infant as well. We see them at least 1x week. Does anyone live near here? If so, what is the diocese like? It is so beautiful up there, I just hope she can also have a beautiful group of friends for support there too.

How hard for you and it sounds like it will be hard for your friend as well to make this move. I'll pray for everyone. You are right when you say Jackson is a gorgeous place - one of my favorite in the whole US for scenic beauty.

Though I'm not in Wyoming, I'm PMing you some Wyoming info I do have. There are a few Wyoming folks on here but none in that area that I know of.

Thanks very much for your info! yes I noticed that it is strange that Jackson is still in the Cheyenne diocese even though it is closer to Idaho Falls. She is still undecided about homeschooling but had told her husband that if they did move she definitely would want to soo...
If I go to the memberlist does it have their locations? I'll try that too. Thank you very much and for your prayers. I went to sleep and woke up with a knot in my tummy and finally let some tears come out last night. I want to be strong but it will be so strange not having them in our everday lives anymore. We have been friends since high school and got engaged and married together and have helped each other have babies together and so yes it will be very different.

No, you can't tell locations from the memberlist. I can PM you the usernames for the folks I mentioned who do live in Wyoming so you could contact them that way.
