Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Yummy! I've been on an apricot kick myself, florasita...dried apricots baked into oatmeal cookies...mmmmmmmmm.

Because I'm trying to up my protein intake, I've been enjoying shrimp or salmon spreads on crackers. Not actually a treat but good none the less .

Love,

Oh that sounds good Angie . Do you make the spreads yourself ? If so is it just cream cheese and the salmon or shrimp ? I totally like that idea for teatime too . Thanks
Much Love , Rox

My daughter has been making the dips, using the following recipes for inspiration:

salmon cheese spread

shrimp dip II

Often she will double the shrimp or salmon and/or the spices.

Love,

Angie -- those sound heavenly -- and a great recipe to remember for Meatless Fridays! I can just see the warm homemade bread, the spread on it and a salad and you've got dinner!!!! (Can you tell I haven't eaten lunch yet? )
