Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi,

I have had 3 C-sections. My first was an emergency one done at 31 weeks to save my twins. I was cut the wrong way-horizontally. I have had 2 more c sections that were vertical cuts in the past 2 years. I have never had any complications or problems and I am recovered within 10 days to completely normal activity levels. Any specific questions, I can answer as well.

Holly, I know this thread was started for Danielle Bean but I am going to have my 3rd c-section in July, and I'm a bit nervous. My first was also an emergency and I have a huge scar. For my second, the doctor just followed the same insicion (spelling?) line. I'm just wondering, did you do anything to prepare that helped your recovery to go so well? Mine aren't too bad, but I'll be 43 when this baby is born and I'm wondering how I'm going to manage. You can pm me. I don't mean to hi-jack.
