Lately I've been having our family pray the rosary with the EWTN Mother Angelica nuns right before noon. I do this because I get pulled away with the little guys and I don't want my older two to have to stop and wait for me to finish with them (it might not ever get done). I like the visual aspects of the program it keeps them engaged and does more than just listening to the rosary seems to do.

But I have boys and I want them to see men praying the rosary. My husband doesn't pray the rosary except for very rare occasions. Does anyone know of a good version of the rosary that primarily features men praying the rosary? They could be priests, or laymen, or something of the like? I'm afraid they will see this as something only women do.

Does it need to be a video? There are many audio versions which are men.

I guess it doesn't have to be, but I was hoping for that as sort of a visual reinforcement of Godly men in the world.

Does that make sense?

I've had my eye on this for a while, not specifically with images of people at all but with lots of images and scripture quotes, I believe for each Hail Mary, looks really appealing...

Anne,

That's a good idea -- sort of circumvent the issue and get them focusing on holy images and words (what they should be thinking about anyway). The DVD looks wonderful.
