I'm not sure why I am sharing this dream with you now since it happened about six months ago, but something is telling me to share it with you. I'm kind of a private person and the dream was kind of silly in a way, but like I said something (maybe the Holy Spirit or maybe Mary) seems to be telling me to share.

In the dream I was talking to Mother Angelica...I don't know if it is from watching her on EWTN or what, but she's been in my dreams before. Anyway at one point she goes "Sometimes when your dreaming you'll see the Blessed Mother" and I went "that's nice". So she says again "Sometimes when you are dreaming you'll see the Blessed Mother" and so getting a little unsettled I said again "that's nice sister". Next she was yelling it really loud "SOMETIMES WHEN YOU ARE DREAMING YOU'LL SEE THE BLESSED MOTHER" this time I was scared and then I go "Oh, am I dreaming? Can I see her now?" And I turned to look around and there she was, but she was smooth and almost doll like in her beauty. She was all white and sort of glowed. I only saw her for a moment. She looked almost not real because she was so perfect. And then I woke up.

I'm not sure what the moral of the story is -- except maybe if Mother Angelica is telling you something pay better attention.

God does communicate to some people in their dreams, and not just in OT days. It sounds like that was a reminder to you and to all of us since you felt strongly that you should share it. I'm so glad you did. In some Catholic publication I read that people are given little visions and moments of deep contemplative prayer and infused knowledge on occasion, but that they don't recognize them because they are so brief. We hear what the saints encounter or about the visions or callings of those called to do difficult things and don't recognize the little gifts in our own life. That's probably a good thing, keeps us humble.
